The Filmmaker’s House plot

Serial killers, or anything involving sex. These are the topics that Marc Isaacs can best focus on, according to his producer, if he wants to have a chance of financing. Out of frustration and recalcitrance, the documentary maker decides to make a film about and with people from his immediate environment: the workers who install a new fence in his garden, his Pakistani neighbour, a Slovakian homeless person whom he temporarily takes in and his Colombian housekeeper, who just lost her mother.
