The Axe in the Attic plot

The devastation of Hurricane Katrina caused the largest internal migration in American history. People fled New Orleans and surrounding areas and have to rely on friends, family, but also total strangers who set up temporary residences for them. Life there was completely uprooted and many families have not yet been reunited. 'The Ax in the Attic' is an investigation into the American diaspora.
