Testimonies plot

In 1987, the First Intifada broke out in the Middle East. Heavily armed Israeli soldiers took on young Palestinian stone throwers. The television images went all over the world. In this documentary, the ex-soldiers and commanders tell their story, sitting in front of the camera in a bare studio. Their stories are often shocking, full of gruesome details. Looking back, the Israeli soldiers realize that they were in fact victims of a situation that had put them in an impossible position. They felt like Goliath to David, which is nothing to be proud of from a Jewish perspective. Dealing with concrete violence was a novelty for these conscripts that filled them with fear. It was no longer child's play.
