Tanjuska ja 7 Perkelettä plot

When ten-year-old Tanjuska suddenly stops eating and talking at the end of the summer holidays, her parents are at their wits' end. Neither the treatments of village healers who give the girl medicinal water to drink nor the insulin treatment in a psychiatric hospital bring any improvement. Finally, her parents come into contact with Father Vasili, an expelling demon from Estonia. He declares that the girl is possessed by the devil. While the now twelve-year-old Tanjuska patiently attends his hour-long masses, the film seeks an answer to the question of what exactly happened to the girl.
