Tangerine Dream: Sound from Another World plot

“Tangerine Dream is science fiction.” explains bandleader Edgar Froese who died in January 2015 at the age of 70. For nearly fifty years, he and his band “Tangerine Dream” have explored sound and its effect on our emotions. This film about one of Germany's first electronic groups begins with the young Berlin musicians who were inspired by the space age of the 1960s, with its rocket launches and visions of the future. But they were also influenced by their own heartbeat, on which Froese also based his compositions. Aided by the Moog and other synthesizers, Froese and the various members of the group revolutionized popular music.
