Stuffed plot
A look into the world of taxidermy (preparing or setting up animals) and the passionate artists from all over the world who work on the animals. All taxidermists in the documentary have their own fascination, one loves birds, the other panthers. One sees taxidermy as a way to 'catch life', the other sees raising animals as an 'art form'. But whether they work 'true to nature' or 'want to create something new', they all want to tell a story. Just as painters, writers and sculptors tell a story with their work, taxidermists also tell a story… but with a slightly less common means.
