Stormbound plot

The IMAX documentary Stormbound follows storm chaser and nature photographer Jeff Gammons, who has been capturing the largest hurricanes along the American coast for thirty years. Behind these images, however, lies a painful reality: Jeff suffers from a life-threatening illness that forces him to face his own mortality. Together with his devoted wife, his dangerous passion thus transforms into a love story about the search for what is truly important in life.
