Stonewall Uprising plot
"On June 28, 1968, Everything Changed."
The East Village of New York in the summer of 1969 was a place full of exceptional types who didn't belong, boys who liked boys and girls who liked girls. A place where everyone could go who was different from the average citizen and where that was also encouraged. The police made regular checks because being gay was illegal in New York at the time. A whole group of people was then haphazardly handcuffed and one of the places where that often happened was the bar Stonewall Inn. Until one conscious night, when the visitors refused to be drained. The uprising had begun.
