Documentary about the career of the renowned Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski. Former classmates recall Kieslowski's happy beginnings in Lodz film school and how he was dissatisfied with some of his early documentaries. This led to the ten-part series 'De Decaloog (1989)'. Wim Wenders, Agnieszka Holland and Juliette Binoche are some of the many admirers who appreciate his working methods.
