"The incredible true story of the 1970's pot smuggler culture."

In 1979, United States Customs Service determined that 87% of marijuana seizures occur in the South Florida area. With 8,000 miles of coastline and proximity to the Caribbean and Latin America, South Florida is a smuggler's paradise. Unlike the violent cocaine cowboys, Miami's marijuana smugglers are calmer and mostly nonviolent. This documentary paints a portrait of Miami's smuggling culture in the 1970s and 1980s by telling three of the city's most colorful stories.
