Sisterhood plot

Twin sisters Husai and Hassi want to leave Sierra Leone to find work in the Middle East so they can lift their parents out of poverty. They weren't always so united. Husai, who grew up with an aunt, was the most enterprising and already had unfortunate foreign adventures. When she became pregnant without being married, the family was disgraced. Their taciturn father is on their side, but mother is against the new emigration plans. She would rather see both sisters get married. But the independent two don't feel like that.
