Good documentary about the life and film career of Sidney Poitier. Sidney Poitier is a gifted storyteller and it is therefore nice that he himself speaks a lot here. The archive material supports his life story and of course his most important films are also featured.

Colleagues and admirers open an impressive gaze to the extensive praise, but Poitier himself also often and often speaks. As far as I'm concerned, Poitier's filmography is a little underdeveloped and the idol idolization of the best man is sporadically gone too far, but there are many interesting and sensible interviews and the chosen film clips are first-class.
