It was already known that shock therapy can have a beneficial effect on people with severe depression. However, this shock therapy is now also being used on a small scale within TBS, especially on people with schizophrenia. At Inforsa in Amsterdam they treat people who have already broken down everywhere with their therapies. Documentary maker Jessica Villerius spent more than two and a half years in the clinic. She examines the sense or nonsense of this controversial treatment.
