Shadow of Afghanistan plot

The struggle of the people of Afghanistan to survive war, terror, misery and political deception. This is illuminated through the eyes of some important fighters for the truth. Cameraman Lee Shapiro disappeared in the mountains of Paktia province. Some of the images and diary notes he made have been preserved. His friend Carmen Zuniga returns 12 years later to uncover the facts surrounding his death. Jim Burroughs has returned to the war zone several times, documenting disturbing incidents such as the American bombing that nobody wanted to broadcast and testimonies from Taliban prisoners.
