How do you get what you want as a woman? By manipulating men with your sexuality. That is the startling message from the Russian Vladimir who leads the famous School of Seduction. Documentary maker Alina Rudnitskaya, herself a Russian, follows three students for seven years to see if this anachronistic recipe for success works. In contemporary Russia, happiness is usually equated with social success and material prosperity. For men, Putin is the aspirational embodiment of virile masculinity. For women, the ideal lies elsewhere: they should be modest, but sexy.
