Schaap plot

"A cold and dark wolf winter in Belgium, as witnessed by the hungry sheep."

For a long time, Belgium was the only country on the European mainland without a large predator in its vast expanses of nature. Until a few years ago, when an adventurous wolf pack in Limburg changed all that. This documentary observes from the pasture the struggle for survival of three Limburgers who, in their fight for their sheep and against the wolf, perpetuate a centuries-old conflict between wild and tame nature.
