Saving Brinton plot
In Michael Zahs' junk shed in Iowa, you stumble upon the rare silent films. With as much passion as he is patient, he sets out to unlock this important collection of films, known as the Brinton Collection. Zahs, an amiable storyteller with a long beard, is the first to put his efforts into perspective in this documentary. The possessed film restorer Serge Bromberg discovers in the collection the long-lost film by Georges Méliès about a three-headed woman. He guides the restoration to the Walhalla of the silent film: “Il Cinema Ritrovato in Bologna”.
