Sahara Marathon plot
Documentary about the Sahara Marathon, which is organized to support the people of the Sahara in their struggle for an independent state. Since the end of the Spanish colonization of Morocco, the Saharwis have been forced to evacuate to Algerian refugee camps. That is why a Sahara Marathon is now held every February to draw the world's attention to the plight of these people. Marathon runners from all parts of the world face sandstorms and quickly experience everyday life in this harsh and inhospitable place. In particular, the documentary follows Abdullah, one of the residents of the refugee camps, who is preparing for the marathon.
