Ruut Weissman - De Hoofdpersoon plot

Prominent theater director Ruut Weissman is going on an experiment together with filmmaker Judith de Leeuw and actress Harriët Stroet. At the request of Judith de Leeuw, he is directing a solo performance about the power relationship between a teacher and a student, between an actress and a director. The theme comes close for both Ruut Weissman and protagonist Harriët Stroet. In the performance, Stroet plays a former student who confronts her theater teacher with the abuse of his position of power. Weissman, Stroet and director Judith de Leeuw struggle with the interpretation of the play. Their mutual relationships become tense if they cannot bring their different ideas together during development.
