Rumeurs du Lac plot

Kivu in DR Congo, a lake in one of the world's most unstable regions, is portrayed through the stories of local fishermen. They live on, and thanks to the lake, they know all its secrets. They tell these while floating with the current on their pirogue or gathered in the evening along the shores of the lake. Some stories about two warring countries, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, are discussed. Stories like a gigantic reserve of methane that could explode at any moment, the rumor of a killer fish and the wonderful memories of an old woman are among them, as are the small events of everyday life, family, life, death.
