It depends on what criteria you all take into account to consider that or that movie as "first movie ever". I also thought I had seen Lumière before (La Sortie de l'usine Lumière à Lyon for example). Of course this doesn't mean much. It is also difficult to do otherwise with barely 2 seconds of image, although there are loops on Youtube that give you multiples.
The film shows Adolphe Le Prince, Sarah Whitley, Joseph Whitley and Harriet Hartley walking around in the garden and laughing. That's about it.
