Rocky Road to Dublin plot

Irish-born journalist Peter Lennon and French cinematographer Raoul Coutard examined the state of the Republic of Ireland. They asked the question "What do you do once your intended revolution is successful?" and argue that in 1967 Ireland was dominated by cultural isolationism and Irish Gaelic and administrative traditionalism. There is also a brief history of Ireland, from 1916, the year in which the Irish-Republican Easter Rising took place, until 1967. This includes the strong influence of the Anglo-Irish, aristocratic order.
