Robert Mitchum - Le Mauvais Garçon d'Hollywood plot

Robert Mitchum (1917-1997) was one of the greatest actors of his generation. The American icon played lead roles in classics such as 'Out of the Past', 'The Night of the Hunter' and 'Cape Fear'. However, nothing in his younger days seemed to indicate that Mitchum would grow into a global star. He grew up during the Depression and fled the poverty of his family at the age of eleven. He traveled like a real bum by train throughout the country and worked as a boxer, among other things. In 1936, he finally ended up in California and began his acting career.
