Robert, Mary en Katrina plot

Robert and Mary are an older, black couple who have been together for over fifty years. However, that is not what sets them apart from others: they experienced Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, United States. The couple take turns telling about their experiences during the disaster. How they waited out the storm with a few of their (grand)children and were confronted with the flood, which they all survive (including the dog) thanks to a lucky inspiration from Robert.
