Robert Capa, l'Homme Qui Voulait Croire à Sa Légende plot
Robert Capa is an icon and an example for a whole generation of photographers and photojournalists. He has also collaborated with, among others, Alfred Hitchcock and the Dutch documentary maker Joris Ivens. He embodies the adventurous spirit of an adventurer: a romantic hero, a legendary photographer with a tragic demise. Still, little is known about the real man in the photos. The film starts with the photo that Capa made "big": the photo of the Spanish Republican soldier, mortally wounded in front of his camera. The question of the authenticity of the photograph in question is at the heart of the story. Some well-known photos of Capa are said to have been staged. But despite the many contradictions, Capa's legend lives on.
