Retratos del Futuro plot
'Retratos del Futuro' is a documentary about the fight for equal rights for female workers on the Buenos Aires metro. The film is told as fiction, in which it is impossible to distinguish one from the other. From the privacy of her room, which she can hardly leave during the corona pandemic, filmmaker Virna Molina searches her computer for images of the future and the past. She examines how her generation has been affected by growing up under a dictatorship, and makes connections between the privatization of companies and the individualism that was preached after the dictatorship.
