Redlight to Limelight plot

In the red-light district of Kalighat, a poor neighborhood in Kolkata, India, a group of Indian sex workers and their sons and daughters are active as the film collective Cam-On. The short films, in which they star, are inspired by their own hard lives. Filmmaker Bipuljit Basu follows them as they work on a film about a mother who rebels when her daughter is also forced into prostitution.
