Progress vs Regress plot

Elderly people are often talked about, but they are rarely asked what they think. Sometimes serious, but mostly light-hearted, Melanie Bonajo questions a group of elderly people about their lives, new inventions, selfies and their use of technology. In the background, a changing virtual backdrop passes by, which places the respondents in a space station, then in a jacuzzi. For some, technology is a relief, for others a mystery. There is disappointment about the possessiveness of the younger generations, but it is also believed that the gap between old and young is narrower than it used to be, when young people just had to keep their mouths shut.
