Planet Deutschland - 300 Millionen Jahre plot

In this documentary, director Stefan Schneider searches for traces of history between the Carboniferous and the present era. On their journey of discovery, the film crew visits the highest peaks of the Alps, the North Sea coast, craters in the Eifel and the river network of the Brandenburg Spreewald. Through computer animation and staging, the past is brought back to life, so that thousands of years later the dinosaurs come back to life.
