Patience, Patience plot

Portrait of seven North African women in Brussels, who until recently led an isolated life and who are now exploring their world. Mina is one of them. Her husband has passed away, the children have left home and Mina is languishing in a tiny apartment in Brussels. Together with her friend Warda, who hasn't seen much of the world yet, she reports to 'Dar el Amal', the 'House of Hope'. There they meet other women like her: Hamida, the funny one; Naziha, the flirt; Tleitmes, the sage and Rahma, the highbrow. A close-knit group of friends develops throughout the film. After the language lesson, the computer lesson follows; together everything seems possible. Dreaming aloud, they push their limits. Until the day that even a trip to New York turns out to be possible.
