Paradijs in Vlammen plot

Filmmakers Kel O'Neill and Eline Jongsma show the disruption of a community after a forest fire. They live with their two young children in California, near the site of the largest fire in recent American history in 2018. The town of Paradise virtually disappeared from the face of the earth. O'Neill and Jongsma doubt whether they should continue living there. In their research, they come across growing inequalities in their state, including when it comes to security and protection.
