In his documentary, Heinz Emigholz shows the work of the Italian architect Pier Luigi Nervi, who uses concrete as a material. Concrete was first used by the Romans and Emigholz shows us ancient Roman structures. As in his previous films on architecture, the filmmaker focuses on the buildings and in this way finds perspectives that make the buildings come to life.
