Onderhuids plot

In this documentary, Van Ditshuyzen focuses on the experience of a chronic illness by young people. Tossed between persistence and fatalism, these patients must learn to live with a disability, and sometimes with the realization that they will never grow old. However, with the advancement of medical science, more and more diseases are treatable to some degree. As a result, young people are confronted with the question to what extent they can simply participate in society. They do not want to sit at home on the couch, but they do run into problems when applying for jobs or relationships.
