O Futebol plot

Filmmaker Sergio Oksman and his father Simão have not seen each other for twenty years. On the eve of the World Cup in Brazil, Oksman returns to his hometown of São Paolo. He plans to follow the tournament together with his father. Watch football together, just like in the old days. “On Football” follows the two men and their World Cup. How they watch football (at work, in a parking garage, in a bar) and their frantic efforts to make up for lost time. The relationship between father and son is difficult. Actually, they can only talk well when it comes to football.
