Nra Masin kam Te Inchpes Na Chvakhetsav Arjits plot
How do you react as a society to an aimless attack, to violence without a clear motive? That is the question the community of the Armenian city of Gyumri faces when a Russian soldier kills the seven members of a family. Their soldier's name is Ivan, just like the fool from Russian folklore, whom they sprinkle through their story in a children's performance. The soldier has been arrested, but war veterans Vahan and Sargis demand retaliation and go get it themselves if necessary. Priest Avetis urges the population to calm down and be patient, while Ani, Vahan's young wife, is especially concerned. Each in their own way searches for the dignity that has been taken from them.
