North on Evers plot

As in many of Benning's films, the American landscape is the main protagonist here. He does, however, deviate from his usual procedure of meticulously planned long, static shots. North on Evers consists of short, moving shots and includes an image text, which can be read as Benning's diary during a long journey through contemporary America.
