Nîpawistamâsowin: We Will Stand Up plot

The story of the death of Cree man Coulten Boushie, and the movement against injustice in the Canadian justice system that emerged. With this story, director Tasha Hubbard paints a picture of Canada's history of colonialism and its influence on the indigenous peoples. In August 2016, Coulten Boushie, a 22-year-old Cree man, was shot in the head from behind by farmer Gerald Stanley, whose property he had been in with some friends.
