Nie Wiem plot
Director Krzysztof Kieslowski gives the floor to a Polish whistleblower who exposed crimes and corruption involving local communist party leaders. In the 1950s he became manager of a leather factory in Silesia. There he came across shady business, such as the sale of stolen goods and the declaration of fictitious business trips. When he went to investigate, he was accused of corporate theft and fired, only to be physically threatened. Without realizing it, he had become public enemy number 1. All this resulted in a nervous breakdown and admission to a psychiatric institution. A clear conscience is now all that matters to him...
