My Vietnam plot

Bay and Tam are a Vietnamese couple who have lived in Germany for thirty years. At night they clean offices and during the day they spend their time online making a virtual connection with their home country via Skype and Karaoke chat rooms. When their home in Vietnam is destroyed by a storm, their virtual bubble bursts, revealing their divergent priorities. Bay sees a future for her in Germany, especially now that a grandchild is expected, while Tam is eager to focus on their family in Vietnam.
