Mr. Hoover and I plot

In this autobiographical documentary, Emile de Antonio talks to his friend John Cage about making films. In doing so, he mainly explores the myth and truth about the former director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, against whom De Antonio has frequently opposed. During his lifetime, Hoover was idolized as an epitome of decency and adhering to American values. After his death, a considerably darker and more complex story was revealed.
