Mów Mi Marianna plot

"How much would you sacrifice to be yourself?"

As a forty-year-old woman, Marianna is born again; earlier this Polish man went through life as a man, son, husband and father. In order to become a woman definitively, she had to take her parents, who did not accept her choice, to court. And Marianna's children never visit her, despite repeated attempts at reconciliation. With the exception of a single girlfriend and a handful of colleagues, Marianna goes through life alone, in a society that is far from open to transsexuals.
