Moederskind plot

The Hague gay men's choir Vox Rosa is working on a performance about the complicated bond between mother and son. Its members belong to a generation of gay men who grew up in a time when mothers' approval was not always obvious. This has often sharpened the bond between mother and son: an experience that, in addition to singing together, unites the men of the choir. 'Mother's Child' is a documentary about motherly love, letting go and acceptance.
