Milosevic on Trial plot
In this documentary, the English public prosecutor Geoffrey Nice and Milosevic compete with each other. Nice is trying to prove under great time pressure that Milosevic is directly responsible for the genocide in the Balkans. Milosevic continues to defend himself and relies on his power and in the people who work for him to clear his name. The trial is becoming more and more absurd and grotesque and Milosevic's health problems are causing many delays in the trial. The longest-running war crimes tribunal ends abruptly when Milosevic is found dead in his cell, months before the final verdict.
