Männer, Helden, Schwule Nazis plot
In the Third Reich, the homosexuality of SA-Führer Ernst Röhm and other homosexual Nazi leaders became their fate. Other men and women, often of impeccable behavior, were also imprisoned, mistreated and killed on the basis of their sexual orientation. Yet for many right-wing radicals, German feelings and homosexuality are not in contradiction with each other. Neo-Nazi Michael Kühnen even claims that gay men are better fighters. Ex-neo-Nazi Bernd Ewald At least was in jail for Holocaust denial and now organizes gay parties in Berlin. André is a skinhead, homosexual and is tolerated by the right-wing "bald heads". The film portrays gay men who are often right-wing and talk about their fascination with uniforms and men's rituals. It also looks back at the homosexual Nazis of the past.
