Malaysian Gods plot

Director Amir Muhammad goes back to September 20, 1998, the birth of the first protest movement in his country. The 'Reformasi' started after the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who then staged a demonstration demanding the Prime Minister's resignation. This resulted in his arrest; he would have been guilty of corruption and (highly prohibited) homosexual acts. In chapters Muhammad looks back on the past ten years.
