LoveTrue plot

How do young people deal with the realization that love is not always unconditional, pure and eternal? In this American triptych, video clip director and experimental documentary maker Alma Har'el investigates the myth of true love. In Alaska, she follows stripper Blake, a young woman who she says was born a nerd whose boyfriend – who has a rare bone disease – does not want to have sex with her. Willie, a trader of locally harvested coconuts in Hawaii, recently learned that he is not the biological father of his two-year-old son. And in New York, singer-songwriter Victory struggles with her parents' violent divorce.
