Director Jon Alpert followed three troubled people from Newark for thirty-six years. Rob, Freddie and Deliri are friends and try to survive by committing petty crimes. The friends are constantly confronted with addictions and financial problems. This creates a vicious circle that ends up in rehab or prison.
