Exploring the growing threats to American democracy, the documentary follows the key political decisions made in the US over the past seven years and exposes the deep rifts that emerged as a result. The film documents how Republican leaders spent years making decisions and embracing rhetoric that would ultimately culminate in the attack on Congress on January 6, 2021. More than 30 interviews were conducted with current and former members of Congress and advisers serving in the administration. Trump, as well as with journalists, lawyers and political scientists.
