Letter to a Friend plot

From her parental home in Bethlehem, Palestinian artist Emily Jacir witnesses almost daily resistance from the population. The controversial West Bank barrier was built at the end of her street. On the hill she sees the lights of the ever-growing Israeli settlements. Using archival images and maps, she provides a clear overview of the geographical consequences of the Israeli wall and settlements for Palestine.
