Les Plus Grands Peintres du Monde: Edgar Degas plot

Edgar Degas was a French painter born in 1834 in Paris and died in 1917 in the same city. He was officially known as an Impressionist painter, but his art had many anomalous characteristics. The artist explored all genres and artistic themes, but the landscapes were one of his weaknesses. Dance was one of his favorite subjects and that subject marked his career with paintings that are still famous today. Unfortunately, in 1860 his eyesight began to deteriorate. In 1905 he retired to his studio, embittered by his blindness.
